The Executive Chairman of Ifelodun Local Government, Hon. Abdulrasheed Femi Yusuf, has commended Hon. Lawal Olanrewaju David (LOD) for his ongoing contributions to education and community development across the Ora Ward of the local government area.

In a statement obtained by JUST EVENT ONLINE TV

The commendation came during an inspection tour of several projects initiated by Hon. Lawal under his “Education for All” initiative, including the construction of a two-classroom block at Aireke Ora Primary School

Hon. Yusuf, who was accompanied by the Speaker of the Ifelodun Legislative Council, Rt. Hon. Garba Jimoh, and other councillors, expressed satisfaction with the quality and pace of work at the construction site. He praised Hon. Lawal’s commitment to improving access to quality education in rural communities, noting that such efforts complement the local government’s broader development agenda.

> “What Hon. Lawal Olanrewaju David is doing through his foundation is a clear demonstration of patriotism and dedication to grassroots development. These are the kinds of initiatives that make real impact in our communities,” Hon. Yusuf said.

The inspection team also visited the newly facilitated Ora Divisional Police Office, a project achieved through collaboration between Hon. Lawal and the Ora Development Union, as well as other ongoing community interventions including solar streetlight installations and poverty alleviation programs.

The council chairman assured the community that arrangements would be made to deploy qualified teachers to the new classrooms upon completion. He further disclosed plans to partner with the **Kwara State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB)** to build an additional classroom block to meet the growing educational needs of pupils in Aireke Ora and surrounding villages.

Hon. Yusuf reiterated his administration’s commitment to supporting projects that enhance education and rural development, emphasizing that philanthropic contributions such as Hon. Lawal’s remain vital to achieving inclusive growth in Ifelodun Local Government.

> “Our administration will continue to work with individuals and organizations that share our vision of a better, more developed Ifelodun,” the chairman affirmed.
