The Kwara State Government has announced Chief Road Traffic Officer (CRTO) Abdullahi Suleiman Oba as the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Kwara State Road Traffic Management Authority (KWARTMA)
According to information obtained by Just Event Online TV on Thursday evening
Until his recent elevation, CRTO Oba was in charge of Training and Public Enlightenment, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the Authority’s public orientation strategies. A pioneer staff member of KWARTMA, Oba is widely regarded as a thoroughbred traffic officer with an impressive track record of service.
Hailing from Akalambi Quarters in the Gambari area of Ilorin, Oba has earned the nickname “Professor Oba” due to his rich professional credentials.
His diverse career spans banking, teaching, and traffic management. He also previously served as KWARTMA’s Head of Operations.
