Engineer Sulaiman Bolakale Kawu Agaka, the Dan Iya Ngeri of Ilorin Emirate and governorship aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kwara State for the 2027 elections, has described veteran journalist Alhaji Wahab Oba as an exceptional leader whose contributions to journalism and political communication in Nigeria remain exemplary.
In a statement released through his media office, Engr. Kawu extolled Alhaji Oba’s professionalism, dedication, and integrity, noting that his distinguished career—from serving as a two-term Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Lagos State Council to his tenure as Chief Press Secretary to the Kwara State Governor—reflects excellence and loyalty.
