When history remembers this generation, it will recall that at a time when public trust in governance was fading and hope seemed a distant concept, one man rose with clarity of purpose, strength of character, and a rare courage to serve above self. That man is Senator Saliu Mustapha. In just two years as a senator representing Kwara Central, he has proven that leadership built on values, integrity, and people-first vision can still thrive in Nigerian politics. He did not come to decorate office; he came to redefine it.

Senator Saliu Mustapha has proven that leadership is not about holding office, but about holding oneself accountable to the people. Within just two years, he has transformed Kwara Central into a reference point for what responsive, people-centered representation should look like. From education and healthcare to infrastructure and empowerment, his interventions have touched every facet of life, impacting thousands and restoring hope in government.

In education, his commitment is unmatched. Over 2,500 indigent students across Kwara Central have benefitted from his scholarship and bursary schemes, with special consideration for orphans and students with disabilities. He has donated ICT equipment, constructed school blocks, and funded renovation projects in over 15 public schools across Ilorin West, Ilorin East, Ilorin South, and Asa local governments.

Healthcare, too, has seen a revolution under his watch. Senator Mustapha facilitated the equipping of five primary health centres and supplied medical consumables and maternal kits across the district. He also sponsored a medical outreach that offered free surgeries, consultations, and drugs to over 6,000 residents—a rare feat in a time when many are left behind by the health system.

On infrastructure, he is a tireless builder. From road rehabilitations to rural electrification, Senator Mustapha has attracted over 20 constituency projects, including the solar-powered boreholes in underserved communities and installation of over 200 solar street lights, illuminating hope where darkness once prevailed.

But perhaps his most celebrated impact lies in youth and women empowerment. With strategic training and support programs, over 3,000 youths and women have been empowered with grants, tools, and skills in tailoring, carpentry, ICT, and agribusiness. These are not token gestures, but life-changing interventions with lasting economic value.

In the Senate Chamber, his voice is not just loud—it is wise and respected. As the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Agricultural Production Services and Rural Development, Senator Mustapha has been instrumental in pushing bills and motions that promote food security, support farmers, and ensure fair federal allocations to states. His policy work on rural development has attracted commendation from stakeholders across party lines.

Above all, he has remained scandal-free, untainted by controversy—a rare virtue in today’s politics. He is trusted, consistent, humble, and visionary. A leader whose politics is not built on division but unity. A man whose integrity commands respect across the North Central zone and beyond.

Now, as 2027 approaches, Kwarans are not just witnessing a remarkable senator. They are rallying behind a man fit for the highest office in the state. Senator Saliu Mustapha’s impeccable record, visionary leadership, and unwavering service make him a compelling choice for the 2027 gubernatorial election. His journey has been one of performance, not propaganda. Of impact, not mere intent.

This is not the time to experiment. It is the time to elevate. The people of Kwara deserve a governor who has been tested, trusted, and proven. Senator Saliu Mustapha is not just ready for the task ahead—he is the leader Kwara has been waiting for.

Let us reward integrity. Let us vote for proven leadership. Let us rise with Senator Saliu Mustapha in 2027.
