Hon. Yakubu Babatunde Ajadi, popularly known as Hon. Prudent, Special Assistant on Special Duties to the Honourable Minister for Youth Development, demonstrated his commitment to community development and religious unity by attending the Ramadan tafsir of the Haqeeqatul-Hudah Daawah Foundation (HDF) on Tuesday.
Just Event Online TV reports, During the tafsir, Khalifa Alaka-Arun, Sheikh Daud Alfanla, highlighted Hon. Ajadi’s significant contributions to the mosque project.
He revealed that Hon. Prudent was the highest donor at the inception of the mosque’s construction, contributing N1 million in cash to kickstart the initiative. Demonstrating his continued support, Hon. Ajadi pledged an additional N200,000 during the tafsir.
Sheikh Alfanla offered prayers to Allah SWT, asking for blessings, protection, and the fulfillment of Hon. Ajadi’s heart desires in recognition of his generosity.
In a related gesture of goodwill, Hon. Yakubu Babatunde Ajadi joined Muslim faithfuls in Ibagun Ward, Ilorin East Local Government Area of Kwara State, to break their Ramadan fast.
The initiative was aimed at appreciating the youths and women of the community for their unwavering support and prayers for the Special Assistant.
Residents of Ibagun Ward expressed their appreciation for Hon. Ajadi’s gesture, describing him as a humble and approachable leader. “Hon. Prudent is a man of humility and simplicity,” one community member remarked.
Others joined in praying for Allah to elevate him to higher political offices, acknowledging his consistent efforts to uplift the community.
