The Kwara State Command of the Nigeria Customs Service NCS has said it has not receive any directives from the headquarters, Abuja to begin the sale of 25kg rice to the people.
The sale of rice measure is taken by the federal government to cushion the effect of subsidy remover and ease hardship faced by the citizens.
According to a statement signed by the Command Public Relations Officer, Chado Zakari anipr and I obtained by Just Event Online TV , it assured the people of Kwara State to be informed adequately when the sale begins.
He said the action will be benefited by all members of the state and ensure that they enjoy maximally from the federal government good gesture.
The command however, urged the general public to not put unnecessary pressure on the officials over the sale of rice, assuring that they will be carried along when the process is commence in line with the directives of the headquarters
