The Kwara State Government, led by Governor Mallam AbdulRazaq AbdulRahman CON, has commenced the construction of two blocks of classrooms at Abata Suban Secondary School in Ilorin West Local Government area.
This development comes after an undercover investigation by Just Event Online TV exposed the deplorable state of the school, where students were learning in open spaces and rented apartments.
The investigation, conducted by Hanifah Ismail, a correspondent for Just Event Online TV, revealed that the junior section of the school was established in 2016, while the senior section was established in 2019.
The report highlighted the need for improved infrastructure at the school, and the government has responded by beginning the construction of new classrooms.
