University Don, Prof M O Ibrahim Stresses the Importance of Skill Acquisition for Children as Explore Academy holds 3rd Graduation Ceremony

 

University Don and who also doubled as Chairman of the occasion during the 3rd Graduation Ceremony of Explore Acedemy, Professor M O Ibrahim has urged parents to place greater emphasis on skill acquisition for their children, drawing inspiration from both Western and Islamic education systems.

In his passionate address to the gathered parents and graduates, Professor Ibrahim highlighted the crucial role that skill acquisition plays in shaping a child’s future. He emphasized that the holistic growth of children encompasses not only traditional academic knowledge but also practical skills that will enable them to thrive in an ever-changing world. Such Coding, Robotic Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Programming among others

He stressed that the incorporation of skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and adaptability is essential to prepare children for the challenges of the modern era

On her part , the Head of Service of the School Mrs Alabi Sherifat Molora said Explore Academy came into existence three year ago with just four pupils, To the glory of God, we have been growing in the process and today we have almost 150 plus our creche babies. Last year, we had only one graduand. Today, four pupils are graduating

Speaking further, she said the four graduating pupils Olumoh Abdusalam, Raji Aisha, Ismail Mohammed Basheer and Abaya Abdulquddus. They will join others to be the first set of JSS1 in Explore Academy College this September God’s willing.

Presenting the sum of 10 thousand naira to the Best Graduand Bashir Ismail Mohammed, the School Proprietress Mrs Habibat Nike Olumoh said the gesture was introduced last year by Alhaja Sidikat Onaolapo Alaya but she is now Late, so the school management decided to continue with it on her behalf
