The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, has reassured Nigerians that the President-elect is looking rejuvenated and ready to hit the ground running ahead of his May 29 inauguration.
Adamu gave the reassurance when he received the delegation of a pro-Nigeria group under the aegis of The Natives at the APC headquarters in Abuja on Thursday.
Adamu had on Wednesday, along with some members of the National Working Committee of the party, visited Tinubu, who returned from foreign vacation on Monday, at the Defence House.
While stating that the nation was eagerly looking forward to a smooth transition on May 29, the APC chairman appealed to Nigerians to continue to support President Muhammadu Buhari long after he leaves office.
