A yet to be identified teenager has allegedly committed suicide in Ariya area, Offa Local Government Area of Kwara State.
The young boy, a secondary school student was alleged to have hanged himself because of academic failure on Tuesday.
Eyewitness present at the scene revealed that his remain has been moved away by security operatives together with his mother.
“When the mother came, nobody was able to untie him, the mother had to climb the tree herself then untie him [sic]. As at this time, the police were around already then they drove to the station with the corpse and the mother”
