Super Falcons captain, Onome Ebi is confident the team can reach the semi-finals at the upcoming 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
The West Africans’ best achievement at the FIFA Women’s World Cup was a quarter-final finish at the 1999 edition hosted by the United States of America.
The nine-time African champions were eliminated in the Round of 16 by Germany four years ago in France.
Ebi, who was included in the 23-woman squad unveiled by head coach Randy Waldrum on Friday, is adamant that the Super Falcons make it to the last four this time.
They will arrive in Australia on Tuesday, July 4, for a 15-day final camping programme before the finals begin on July 20.
