In a significant development for tertiary education in Kwara State, the visitation panels for the three Colleges of Education in Ilorin, Oro, and Lafiagi have submitted their comprehensive reports to the Kwara State Government.
The State Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Dr. Mary Ronke Arinde, expressed her appreciation to the committee members during the report submission ceremony held in her office on Wednesday. She commended their high level of commitment and professionalism in executing the crucial task assigned to them.

Professor Jawondo Ibrahim, Chair of the visitation panel for the College of Education, Oro, expressed gratitude to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for entrusting them with the responsibility to contribute to the educational reformation of the state’s tertiary education system.
Prof. Jawondo praised the management of the three Colleges of Education, emphasizing the exposure of outstanding competence in personnel driving the objectives, goals, and policy thrust of these institutions.
Members of the visitation panels presented a letter of commendation to the Commissioner, acknowledging her exceptional role in the success of the assignment aimed at elevating the tertiary education system in the state.
Chairman of the visitation panel to College of Education (Technical), Lafiagi, Professor Otunola Tejumola, appreciated the Governor for the initiative, highlighting the potential for revenue generation in the institution.
Prof. Tejumola commended the Commissioner for her professionalism, right attitude, maturity, high sense of responsibility, and encouragement during the execution of the assignment. He emphasized the need for special attention to College of Education (Technical), Lafiagi, particularly in revitalizing the Tetfund Project.
