A non-profit organization, known for empowering women in Nigeria, Sisters of Jannah (SOJ) on Tuesday paid a royal visit to the Emir of Ilorin, who is also the Chairman, Kwara State Council of Chiefs, Alhaji(Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, in his ancient palace.
The non-governmental organization which was formed in 2016 has 27 zones spread across the country and 1 each in USA and UK, with the aim to educate, empower, and enlighten Muslim women.
The delegation led by Coordinator of SOJ Ilorin, Hajia Misturah Afolabi, said the objective of the visit is to seek for royal blessings for more progress from the Emir of Ilorin.
Hajia Misturah congratulated HRH on his appointment as the Chancellor of Bayero university, Kano, (BUK).
She also beseeched God to elongate his life and continue guiding the imperial in piloting the affairs of the ancient city.
The group presented a copy of the Holy Qur’an as gift to the royal father.
In his response, the Emir appreciated the group for its efforts in making the society a better place
He prayed God to continue blessing, uniting and strengthen the team and organization at large.
The royal father equally urged the charitable association to continue contributing it quota to the community and make the world a better and sane place.
