Salihu Mustapha Foundation to commence second edition of Inter-Secondary Schools Competition, November

 

The Salihu Mustapha Foundation is set to commence the second edition of Inter-Secondary Schools Competition on 2nd of November, 2022

Comr. Ahmed Ishowo Yakub who disclosed this on behalf of the foundation while addressing the newsmen in Ilorin on Friday said, 60 schools have been invited, 20 from the three Senatorial Districts in Kwara State to participate in the competition, while 10 schools will progress to the final.

He said the idea of the competition is geared towards promoting and rewarding excellence.

“The first edition of this program held in 2018 with appropriate reward and motivation awarded to participants across the Senatorial Districts of Kwara State”.

Ishowo said the second edition promised to follow the already established culture and sustain the guidelines and criteria for participation across the political zones of the State. Added that accomodation and welfare package during the program is covered.

“It is important to know that contributions of Salihu Mustapha Foundation towards solidifying education must not go unnoticed”

He reiterated that the foundation remains resolute on social growth and development of Kwara and Nigeria at large.

In his contributions, Permanent secretary of Ministry of Education ably represented by Mr. Aderemi Ajibade commended the foundation, adding that the competition will go a long way in shaping the students and will bring out best out of them. He also appreciated gov AbdulRaman AbdulRazaq for his relentless efforts towards the development of the State.
