Sa’adatu Modibbo Kawu 3rd Annual Ramadan lecture: Islamic scholars urge Muslims to remain humble, sincere

As the month of Ramadan is coming to an end, Muslims have been enjoined to remain kind, humble and have sincere trust in God.

The charge was made by Hajia Abdulsalam Khadijat Al Hidaya, at the 3rd Annual Ramadan lecture, organized for Women by the Honourable Commissioner for Education and Human Capital Development, Hajia Sa’adatu Modibbo Kawu.

Describing humility as one of the characteristics of the Holy prophet, Hajia Khadijah called on muslima to be humble, compassionate and embrace each other, as dignity with God comes to those who are humble before him.

Speaking futher, the Islamic scholar eulogised Hajia Sa’adatu for her pioneering efforts in the promotion of Islam and her support to humanity.

She beseeched Almighty Allah to elongate her stay on earth and grant her heart desires.

Speaking on the importance of Suratul Fatiah, the second lecturer at the religious event, Hajia Kamaldeen Hauwa Gbagede, posited that only Allah is worth worshipping, as he is the best helper.

she added that human being should always remain submissive and obedient to Allah’s injunctions in all conditions in order to become victorious in life and hereafter.

She charged the muslim ummah to shun hypocrisy, betrayal and other bad behavior.

In her remarks, Honourable Commissioner for Education and Human Capital Development, Hajia Sa’adatu Modibbo Kawu appreciated women for their support towards her.

She equally urged the audience to make use of the lectures delivered, even after the holy Month.

The commissioner prayed for the betterment of the State and Country at large.
