Reps postpone resumption over renovation of NASS complex

The House of Representatives has postponed its resumption from Easter break indefinitely due to the ongoing renovation of the National Assembly Complex.

The Clerk to the House, Mr Yahaya Danzariya, made the announcement in a statement issued on Monday, which was published on all the verified social media platforms of the chamber including Twitter, @HouseNGR.

The statement read, “This is to inform all honourable members and other legislative staff that the @HouseNGR plenary earlier scheduled for Tuesday, April 26, 2022, will no longer hold.

“This is due to the early commencement of renovations in the chambers and extension of time for committees to file in their outstanding reports.”

“A new date will be communicated in due course. All inconveniences are sincerely regretted.”
