Ilorin based Educationist and diehard football follower, Dr Jimoh Ayinla Ahmed has called on the management of Kwara United to genuinely improve on the welfare of it’s players and officials rather than handing the team three match Ultimatum at this critical period .
Dr Ayinla Jimoh gave the charge while speaking with journalists on the sideline of poor run and unimpressive performance at home of the club in the on going 2023/23 NPFL season.
Dr Ayinla who is the former Provost, College of Education, Ilorin, said handing the team three match Ultimatum is not the right solution to their woes, rather it will only put them on undue pressure on field of play.
“3 Matches ultimatum handed down to the coaching crew of Kwara United is not the best solution to the darling team of Kwara, the management need to take a realistic approach to improve their fortune”
Fortify the team with good strikers during the January transfer window and be rest assured of good results Dr Jimoh added”
While calling for regular stakeholder’s meeting of the club by the management where rightful suggestions and observations geared towards moving the team forward will be x-trayed, he implored spectators to desist from booing the team or intimidating them when result is not on their side, instead they should continue supporting and praying for their success.
“I urged spectators to remain calm and sustain enabling environment for the club to show their skills at home, intimidating them cannot bring positive results”
He Commended Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for his huge investment on the club since the inception of his administration, asking him to sustain the momentum.
He equally saluted the dexterity of the executive Chairman of the commission, Mallam Bola Magaji and Kumbi Titiloye led management team of the club for working tireless to ensure the team remain the best brand in annal of Nigerian lea
