Prince Adewole Adebayo, the 2023 Social Democratic Party SDP Presidential Candidate, has launched a scathing attack on President Bola Tinubu, describing him as a “Champion of Disgrace” to democracy and Nigerians.
Speaking at a Ramadan Lecture and Iftar in Ilorin, Adebayo condemned the State of Emergency declared in Rivers State and suspension of Governor and other elected officials, labeling it an abuse of power.
Adebayo also accused President Tinubu of presenting a “fake budget” to the National Assembly.
He expressed displeasure over the state of democracy and governance in Nigeria, frowning at the incessant kidnapping, killing and act of terrorism attack going on in the country
He however, urged the National Assembly to do the needful and engage in what will better the life of Nigerians by ameliorating poverty and reduce crime rate.
The event also witnessed a sermon by Sheikh Tajudeen Sholagberu Omoalubarika and Sheikh Foreign Olabiwonninu Akanbi and was attended by the 2023 Kwara Central Senatorial Candidate, Dr Ridwan Apaokagi, Former Minister of Sports, Barrister Solomon Dalong, Prince Adewole Adebayo Esq among others.
