Thousands of members from the People’s Democratic Party PDP on Wednesday decamped to the ruling party All Progressive Congress APC, Ibagun Ward Ilorin East local govt area of Kwara state
The members which include men, women, and productive youths left the falling People’s Democratic Party in the state because of the party’s failure and inability to fulfill the promises made to the people.
The members joined the dominants All Progressive Congress APC with the hope of getting their dreams fulfilled
The decampees were called upon to pledge their loyalty to the APC as they present to them their membership identification card
The leader of the women decamped, Rasheedat Ismail who claimed to be a graduate said, she has been in the PDP for a long but she has nothing to show for it as she has been unemployed for years.
She however hopes to fulfill her dreams as she decamped to the All Progressive party The event took place at Amuyankan open field, Amule area Ilorin.
