The Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) National Executives led by national chairman Alhaji Ibrahim Magaji Olaniyan has applauded the proactive efforts of the Kwara State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq in bolstering local government security through the provision of operational vehicles.
This commendation was made during the national executive meeting held at Force Headqauters in Abuja on Wednesday
The meeting, which brought together key representatives from various regions, served as a platform for discussing pertinent issues related to community safety and collaboration between law enforcement agencies and local communities.
The PCRC’s national deputy auditor, Alhaji Mohammed Jagunmo, and national provost marshal, Pastor Bode took the opportunity to deliver comprehensive feedback on the strides taken by the Kwara State government to enhance security measures and also the activities of Kwara Commissioner of Police, Ebun Oluwarotimi Adelesi in making the state safe
They also appreciated Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun for his giant stride in curbing insecurity in the nation
The provision of operational vehicles 32 vans, 160 motorcycles and 3 vans for KWARTMA, highlighted as a significant step towards improving the response time and efficiency of local law enforcement in Kwara State. This initiative is expected to contribute immensely to the prevention and rapid resolution of criminal activities within the communities.
Members of the PCRC National Executive expressed their appreciation for the Kwara State Governor’s commitment to fostering a safer environment for the residents.
They emphasized the importance of such partnerships between the, Police , government and local community organizations in tackling security challenges effectively.
The PCRC National chairman, Alhaji Olaniyan concluded the meeting with a renewed commitment to fostering stronger ties between communities and law enforcement agencies, as they work together to build safer and more secure neighborhoods for all Nigerians.
