A 48-year-old man, has become confused as he wept profusely after DNA test results revealed that he was not the biological father of his three children, according to The Fact Newspaper reports
The man, an indigene of Isanlu Isin, in Isin Local Government Area of Kwara State, who would not want his name mentioned and his wife, Mrs.Bolakale Ibukunoluwa Ajiboye, a former GNS lecturer of New Land Polytechnic, Sango, Iorin, kwara State, have three kids aged 8, 5 and 2.
The husband, a former staff of the Defunct Intercontinental Bank, got married to his wife, Bolakale Ajiboye in 2013 at Baptist Church, Omun – Aran and had been living together as husband and wife in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.
Asked why he decided to conduct the test in the first place, he said he took the decision to carry out the tests on his children after observing varied promiscuous moves from his wife.
The DNA test was conducted at Synlab Hospital, Offa Road, Ilorin.
The DNA test of the three children, revealed that none of them was his, as all the results returned negative.
He said: “I want Nigerians to come to my rescue because I must not suffer this in vain. I married Bolakale in 2013 and gave birth to three children, but none of the children belongs to me after findings from a DNA test, ” he lamented.
Narrating his ordeals further, the man said he started suspecting his wife’s act of infidelity when he saw some nude pictures and text messages to some men on her phone, a situation he alleged further aided by her parents, who refused to call her to order.
As I said , I know her way back in 2005 and we dated for 6 years. We got married in 2013, January 26 at Omun-Aran. We did Traditional and Church wedding. Afterwards, we started living as husband and wife here in Ilorin.
” Being a new couple, we started very well. Everything was fine. Along the line, I started noticing foul plays. I mean seeing some bad text messages, charting with different men on her phone. Each time I challenged her, she tried to cover up, ” he said.
He lamented that at anytime she wanted to deliver any of the three children, he would donate two pints of blood at the University Of Ilorin Teaching Hospital and even had to sell his land to pay for the caesarian operation conducted on his wife while giving birth to the third born, not knowing he was fathering another person’s children.
Along the line in 2015, I had my first child, a female. I did the naming ceremony and we kept moving. In 2018, she got pregnant again and it happened to be a boy. I was so excited and I did a wonderful naming ceremony for him being a boy. Good has been blessing me and has been faithful.
” I love my kids and we kept going. In 2021, she told me she was pregnant again and I said really? Despite the fact that i was satisfied with a girl and a boy, I had no option than to accept it. She gave birth to a girl. So I have three beautiful kids that I have been training. I put them in good schools, they are doing awesome. I gave them everything I could.
At any point of her delivery , they took two pints of blood from me being their father and I did it with so much joy. As a father, after delivery, they would give me the placenta to be buried and I did take it inside the busy and pray at the point for the children to be successful in life.
” Things started falling apart between us as she kept on sending nude pictures and charting with different men on her phone. She is a makeup artiste and a lecturer at The New Land Polytechnic, Ilorin., though as as I speak with you, she had been disengaged from the school. At a point she would be coming home from school at 10 pm in the night ,leaving the three kids alone under my care. Each time I rebuked her, she lied and stubbornly fought me and even tored my clothes, ” the ex banker disclosed.
The embittered husband further added that Bolakale in her promiscuous habit would put sleeping pills inside his tea, so as to sneak out of her matrimonial house at night to meet with her lovers, and hurriedly came back home as early as 4 am in the morning.
“At time, when I came back home from the office, she would give me a cup of tea and within a while, I would have slept. She did that because of her devilish act. I tolerated all these from her simply because I did not want a broken home and for the sake of the children. So that is what I have been facing in last 10 years.
” Each time we quarreled, she would pack her load out and took along with her the three children, not knowing she had rented an apartment at Eleko Area of Sango. The two families at a point came together to settle the rift between us and they ordered her to move her belongings back home, which she did, but she insisted I must return the money she paid for the apartment, which again I did.
Just two weeks after, she came up with another story again asking for my permission to allow her to stay away for three days so as to attend a make-up job. I insisted she would not go. Unfortunately for her, while she slept , I picked her phone and saw all her charts with the man she was planing to go and spend three days with. I picked the address and reported the case at the Nigerian Police Station, Oke-Oyi.
“The following days, she left my house to the place which happened to be the same apartment she rented outside and had earlier collected N100,000 from me which she said she had vacated. Myself and two police officers bursted into the apartment, and we caught her red handed fornicating with a man she invited to Ilorin all the way from Ogun State, ” he stressed.
According to the man, the revelation to the true paternity of the three children came up when she insisted she would be leaving me shortly after I bailed her out from the police station, saying the shame she went through was much and she wanted to terminate the marriage.
“I said fine, but before we quit the wedlock, with all that had been happening, I wanted to do the DNA test for the children. We both went to Synlab Hospital here in Ilorin for the DNA . By the time the DNA results came out, none of the three children is mine.
” I asked myself, Can this be true? The three kids that I have been training and nourishing for the past 10 years. She had been fornicating, committing adultery all these while. Another bizarre of the whole issue is that she bore the three children for different fathers. The DNA results reveal that the three children are from different men,” the husband cried.
An Upper Area Court 1 in Ilorin on Tuesday issued a warrant of arrest on Mrs. Ajiboye Bolakale Ibukunoluwa, over alleged adultery.Bolakale, a native of Isanlu Isin, in Isin Local Government Area of Kwara State, and erstwhile lecturer at New Land Polytechnic, Ilorin,

Judge AbdulGaniyu Mustapha granted the order for their arrest while delivering ruling in an ex-parte application brought before him by the complainant counsel.
The ex-parte application was predicated on sections 6 sub(6) paragraph(b) of 1999 constitution as amended.
In the ex-parte application argued by Barr. Isaac Adebayo said the two defendants were said to be at large.
The senior lawyer submitted that the defendants were involved in conspiracy, criminal intimidation, assaults, criminal force , causing hurt, use of insulting, abusive and defamation of character.
Judge Mustapha granted the request of the Complainant to declare the defendants wanted and upon their arrest and investigation, be brought before the court for trial.
Speaking with our reporter shortly after the rulings , Counsel to the complainant, , Issac Adebayo lauded the ruling, describing it as well served.
“The ruling today gave us the headway on what next to be done, after all the Court has granted us a bench warrant and the police could not execute it on the first and second defendant, Bolakale Ajiboye and Dapo Awolaoye.
They were being charged for conspiracy, adultery and intimidation. When the Court’s orderly(Police) informed the Court that he found it difficult to execute the bench warrant, having known that there is no way we could go around without taking a further step.
“That is why we took a further step by applying to Court that it should grant the complainant the order to declare the two wanted on the pages of newspaper and other social media. Graciously, the Court has granted us. The sky is our limit now, we can go to any length for the law to have its way to get her to the Court,” the lawyer said.
All efforts to reach out to the defendant’s lawyer’s proved abortive as all calls to them neither picked nor returned.
However the case is slated for further mention by May, 14th 2024.
