Months ago, when defection spurred the politicians abreast in our father land (Nigeria), the stand of each leader proclaimed the right guided by provisional law. Meanwhile, obnoxious words arrived which condemned the action being taken from one party to another.
Kwara state as North Central in Nigeria, also experienced the exercise where politicians transferred themselves like footballers, the harmonious state was folded when the scenario arrived, different opinion polls on social media, different criticisms from electorates and different defamatory statements was released. The street was painted with political posters while followers dance to their leaders’ ideology, and some as an activists, nothing to trace with their own except leadership mistakes which revealed the agitation as bias advocacy.
Back to the state capital (Ilorin), the city welcomed the changes of parties and series of questions arise. Such as: Who is pure among politicians? Who deserves the crown that can lead the state to promising land? Does any aspirant from different parties showcase their agenda? What is the contributions of each aspirant in the state?. Opposition sees as dwell of progress in flank while setting goals with prevarication and negative words surely be the weapons by parties like sword to defend in a war.
People biddable just because of individual goals. The naked candidate also wants to be rendered clothe which does not bring unforeseen sight of brightness to electorates. Yet, some appraise the leaders while some tag them as clever soul who enjoy wickedness, but left the top leaders contributions in some sectors which make the state outstanding among others.
They keep on painting the state with posters and the roads busy with customized cars, the Kwarans platforms on social media is always an avenue for citizens’ expression. Let all aspirants proclaim their contributions positively to the state before this time, the administered action will bring limelight to the electorates in order to acknowledge a distinctive candidate. Some aspirants does not have iota impact in line with community development or humanitarian service and such candidate wants to be our next representative in legislative and executive offices come 2023. The awaken Kwarans should not be bias, but justification will help the situation without skepticism.
