Olofa of Offa Calls For Peace In Ibolo Kingdom, Prays For ICCIMA During Courtesy Visit

The Ibolo Chamber of Commerce Industry and Mines ( ICCIMA) has paid a courtesy visit to Olofa of Offa, Oba Muhammad Mufutau Gbadamosi Okikiola Ajagungbade l Esuwoye ll on Wednesday, 18th of January 2022.

The ICCIMA visited the monarch in his palace to receive royal blessing and support for the progress of the association and that of Ibolo communities at large.

Speaking to journalists, the President of ICCIMA, Mr. Paul Olagunju said the visit to the palace is to receive the blessing of Kabiesi towards the plan and progress of the association as his experience and prayer will drive the association to a successful destination.

The President further enunciated the activities of the association which include promotion of business associations in order to boost businesses, industrialization and commerce withing Ibolo land which will further generate wealth and employment that will attract investment and development in Ibolo communities.

Speaking further, Mr. President emphasized on the continuous efforts of the Chamber to organize more events that will bring relevant stakeholders together to implement some of the plans the chamber had put in place.

He therefore advised members of the communities in Ibolo kingdom to associate themselves with the chamber in order to boost their businesses and tap from many opportunities and benefits of ICCIMA.

While introducing members of ICCIMA to the monarch, the Head of Department of Mass Communication of The Federal Polytechnic Offa, Mr. Wole Alawode briefed Kabiesi on ICCIMA partnership with the Federal Government and State Government in identifying and assisting small and medium scale businesses in Ibolo land.

Earlier, Kabiesi Olofa of Offa commended the efforts of the Chamber for coming together as one. He reteirreated on the need for peace and unity among the communities in Ibolo Kingdom and prayed for ICCIMA and its executives to continue to experience peace, growth and progress in their various activities.

While making reference to One Innovation Hub built by the community, Olofa of Offa advised ICCIMA to partner with the innovation hub established for the benefit of people in Ibolo kingdom and diaspora and pledged royal support for the chamber without segregation.

Other members of ICCIMA present are: Alhaji S.A Fowomola, Mr. Samson Ajibade, Hajia Kemi Bello.
