In his continued philanthropic act towards improving the lives of his people, Member representing Ilorin East/South Federal Constituency and Chairman of the House Committee on National Planning and Economic Development, Hon. AbdulGaniyu Saka Cook-Olododo on Saturday empowered thousands of constituents with cash support and food items.
The empowerment which is the 16th edition of its kind benefitted 1,650 constituents with cash ranging from N20,000 – N350,000 across the two local governments.
Addressing the people, Olododo noted that small business owners must be supported and empowered to further strengthen their businesses.
“Our actions and activities speak more for us than words. I have always tried to bring evidence of democracy to my constituency in terms of physical projects and empowerment programs”.
There is no doubt that the Covid-19 outbreak resulted in an economic crisis worldwide which many countries are yet to recover from and Nigeria is not an exception.
Olododo the candidate of the Social Democratic Party for the same constituency urged them to utilize what was given to them wisely and judiciously as he promised to do more.
