Olawoyin dole out items to 500 Constituents
The Leader, Kwara State House of Assembly KWHA Hon. Abubakar Olawoyin Magaji empowered 500 vulnerable and petty traders of Magaji Ngeri Constituents with valuable items and cash
The program which took place on Saturday at Baptist Primary School, Ilorin was witnessed by political gladiators and traditional leaders in the State
Speaking at the 10th empowerment program, the lawmaker maintained that his gesture was to lessen the harsh economy and unemployment rates within the constituency
While speaking on some of his achievements, he said;
“I repaired 5 hand boreholes across the five wards of my constituency, purchased new pumping machine to the various motorized borehole, scholarship awards to students in both secondary and tertiary institution”
Olawoyin added that he had assisted 20 unemployed youths to secure employment, payment of JAMB and SSCE fee, trained 100 women on skill acquisition with a cash donation, among others,
He, however, commended Gov Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq for his immeasurable efforts towards uplifting and developing the people of Kwara State, while he implored the beneficiaries against selling what was given to them
Deputy Speaker, KWHA, Hon. Adetiba Raphael at the program commended the Hon. for the epoch-making event. He charged the constituents in its entirety to support him in the next general election for more development in the area
The beneficiaries took turns to appreciate him for empowering them, saying it will go a long way in sustaining their livelihoods
Items distributed were;100 POS machines, 10 sewing machines, 30 weaving machines, 10 grinding machines, 10 motorcycles, 10 deep freezers, 2 tricycles a generator, and cash for 300 indigent
