The committee of Ode Alfa Iwo Mosque, led by its Imam, has appreciated the distinguished donors for their generous contributions toward the renovation of the ancient mosque during the Wolimat Quran ceremony of Halimat Damilola, daughter of Mallam Aiyelabegan Kayode Abdullah, also known as Goga.
The donations, amounting to ₦2.5 million, were contributed by:
Senator Saliu Mustapha: ₦1,000,000
Senator Yahaya Oloriegbe: ₦500,000
Professor Abubakar Suleiman Amana: ₦500,000
Barrister Majeed Oloriegbe: ₦500,000
The mosque committee confirmed that the pledges have been redeemed, enabling the renovation work to advance seamlessly.
The Imam and committee members offered prayers for the donors, seeking Almighty Allah’s blessings, prosperity, and protection for them.
They also called on other well-meaning individuals to continue supporting the mosque, emphasizing that such acts of charity are greatly rewarded by Allah.
The committee reiterated its commitment to using the funds judiciously to enhance the mosque for the benefit of the community.
