The Management of Oyun Baptist High School Ijagbo, Kwara State has allegedly sent Muslim students out of school premises over their refusal to remove the hijab.
This was displayed in a video going around on social media where a cross section of Muslim female students wearing a hijab was captured going home.
One of the parents who recorded and posted the video on Facebook was captured appealing to Kwara State Government for proactive intervention to prevent another hijab crisis in the state.
Recall that in early 2021, the Kwara State Capital, Ilorin witnessed a similar scene of the hijab crisis that led to the damage of school properties and left many injured.
At the time of filing this report, the management of Oyun Baptist High School Ijagbo could not be reached for a response.
