The Kwara North Senatorial Candidate under the New Nigeria Peoples Party NNPP, Dr Kolo Baba Jiya has urged Nigerian Christians to participate actively in political matters
Speaking on Thursday at a Book Presentation programme titled; Church and Politics in Nigeria Context written by Peter Olanrewaju Awojobi (PhD), which was held at UMCA Chapel, Ilorin, Dr Kolo said Christians should be a participative individuals in the political process and decision-making as Christianity does not against Politics.
He urged Religious leaders to pray to God for a representative that has the fear of God at heart and who will take the country to a greater level. Added that Good leadership has no limit to impactfulness
Speaking further, he charged Nigerians especially Christians to vote wisely in the 2023 general election
He commended the author of the book, Peter Olanrewaju Awojobi for a job well done.
