NNPP Chair, Kehinde Ola dissociate self from congratulatory message to Saliu Mustapha

Following a congratulatory message sent to the Kwara Central Senator-elect, Mallam Saliu Mustapha by the New Nigeria Peoples Party NNPP, the chairman of Ilorin West local government chapter, Kehinde Ola has disassociated himself from the purported congratulatory message signed by the state chairman of NNPP, AbdulRazaq AbdulSalam on Thursday

In a phone conversation with Just Event Online TV on Friday, Kehinde said he was unaware of the statement credited to his name and other local governments chairmen of the party in Kwara Central.

He said it was the state chairman that mischievously wrote the statement out of his interest

He noted that the party’s Kwara Central Senatorial Candidate in the just concluded national assembly election, Aiyelabegan Kayode Abdul is in tribunal to challenge the irregularities that mar the outcome of the election which we abide by it.

It was only the national working committee of our party that can give such an order to congratulate anybody, but to my surprise, the embattled state chairman went to the media to make a congratulatory message to the person in court with our candidate, he said.

He restated that the letter signed in his name was not his doing and has no involvement to the letter, urging the general public to disregard such statement

“As the authentic chairman of Ilorin West local government, I want to use this medium to debunk my involvement and I urge the public to disregard such a statement because it is not coming from the national headquarters of our New Nigeria People’s Party NNPP”.

As the case in a court of law, I will not want to talk about it, he added.
