The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited has reaffirmed its commitment to ending energy poverty in Africa and deepening global collaboration to drive sustainable energy growth.
In a post on its official X handle on Monday, the national oil company said its Group Chief Executive Officer, Bayo Ojulari, led a high-powered delegation to the NNPCL exhibition booth at the ongoing Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference.
Ojulari’s visit, according to the company, underscored NNPCL’s strategic engagement with global energy leaders and reaffirmed its transformation into a commercially driven energy powerhouse.
He was received by the Executive Vice President, Business Services, Sophia Mbakwe, alongside other senior executives and members of the company’s Board of Directors
The presence of the Board Chairman and other directors, the post added, reflected a unified leadership front as the company seeks to expand its footprint in global energy partnerships and investments.
Earlier in the day, Ojulari participated in a closed-door session of the Global Oil Club, a select forum comprising the world’s top energy executives and institutions.
He reportedly used the platform to push for inclusive energy development and joint investment strategies to de-risk Africa’s infrastructure base.
