The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Thursday reported 87 new COVID-19 cases from nine states and the Federal Capital Territory.
According to the data from the agency’s official website, Lagos reported 25 new cases of COVID-19 infections.
Gombe with 16 cases, FCT – 15, Delta – 9, Edo – 7, Gombe – 5, Nasarawa – 4, Bauchi – 3 while Kano, Oyo and Borno recorded a single case each.
The reported 87 new infections have brought the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases to 252,840 while 228,137 people have recovered and have been discharged.
With no additional COVID-19 related death recorded for the day, the death toll from the virus still stands at 3,134.
