The All Progressive Congress House of Assembly candidate for Owode/Onire constituency, Rukayat Motunrayo Shittu a 26 years old on Saturday flagged off her campaign and inaugurated the campaign council
Speaking at the historical event which was held in Alapa Primary school, Asa LGAs of the state, Rukayat Shittu described herself as the most competent and qualified amongst all the candidates
She assured to collectively achieve and sustain a new course which gives stronger hope, and transformation for Owode Onire Constituency and Kwara State. Together, we will work to create pathways and opportunities for our Owode Onire.
“It has been a long and requiring struggle and effort after our party primaries in May. And since then, it has been a chain of great activities with many significant political developments in our constituency. And to affirm that fact was the composition of the campaign council which we are formally unveiling today”.
The reason for today’s event is to officially inaugurate our able and dedicated campaign council and canvassers. Many of them had already hit the ground running with marvellous work done so far. I am delighted to inform you that the spirit of cooperation has characterized our campaign members. For others, all I can say is for you to see yourself as an integral part of this noble course. It is vitally important for us to take ownership of this project. Let it be an unwavering commitment of conscious stakeholders, party faithful whose contribution sustains the growth of the moving train, the APC train under the leadership of HE, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
The event today is for a formal introduction of members of the campaign council to understand the mission and vision of the council and to truly understand the strength of our togetherness. We see you as a vital part of our success story. The campaign council needs you as much as you need it for the attainment of progress for our party. We are both mutually dependent on each other.
She appreciated her backroom who has always dedicated and supportive towards the course.
