Nigeria records 8 new Covid-19 cases in one State, FCT
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Thursday reported 8 new cases of Covid-19 from one State and the Federal Capital Territory
The health agency disclosed this on it’s official website, saying Rivers State recorded 5 cases of the new infection, while FCT recorded 3 cases of the virus
According to NCDC, the 8 new cases reported for the day has brought the total number of confirmed cases to 254,606 while 249,154 people have recovered and discharged successfully
However, with no additional covid-19 related death recorded, the death toll from the virus still stands at 3,142 according to the agency
