Nigeria records 35 new Covid-19 cases across 7 States, FCT
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Monday, reported 35 new cases of Covid-19 from 7 States and the Federal Capital Territory
According to the data released by the Agency’s official Facebook page, Rivers State recorded 14 cases of the new infection, followed by Imo with 6 new cases, Lagos reported 4 while FCT with 3 cases.
Next on the log is Kwara State with 3 new cases, followed by Bayelsa and Plateau with 2 cases each, while Akwa Ibom reported a single case.
The health agency maintained that with 35 new infections recorded for the day have brought the total number of confirmed cases to 254,560 while 249,079 people have recovered and discharged successfully
However, with no additional Covid-19 related death recorded, the death toll from the virus still stands at 3,142 according to NCDC
