Nigeria records 28 new Covid-19 cases in four States, FCT
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Wednesday reported 28 new cases of Covid-19 from four States and the Federal Capital Territory
The health agency disclosed this on it’s official website, saying Lagos State recorded 18 of the new infections, followed by Kano with 4 new cases of the virus, FCT recorded 3, while Rivers and Kaduna reported 2 and 1 cases respectively
According to NCDC, the 28 new cases reported for the day has brought the total number of confirmed cases to 254,598 while 249,138 have recovered and discharged successfully
However, with no additional covid-19 related death recorded, the death toll from the virus still stands at 3,142 according to the agency
