On Tuesday, Nigeria recorded 105 additional COVID-19 infections across eight states and the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), disclosed this on its Facebook page late Tuesday night, noting that the country’s fatality toll from the disease stand at 2,977, as one death was reported.
The centre added that the latest figure of confirmed cases has increased Nigeria’s infection toll to 214,218
The breakdown of the NCDC report revealed that Lagos State, the epicentre of the disease, reported forty three new cases, Gombe, twenty one, while the FCT reported sixteen cases.
Followed by Niger state with ten cases, Rivers and Plateau state reported six and five respectively.

While Edo State recorded two cases, Bauchi and Kano states reported one case each.
The data also added that Kaduna and Cross River states reported recorded no cases Tuesday
