The Nigerian Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Ilorin Chapter has charged the new elected executive members to always work towards the prosperity of the Association.
Speaking on Thursday at the First Annual General Meeting and Election which was held at Branch Engineering Centre, Tanke Ilorin, the Chairman of NIEEE, Engr. Femi Adeboye FNIEEE said the Chapter has made tremendous progress in piloting its affairs to a greater height.
He called for honest feedback and frank opinions, stressing that it will assist the executives deliver more values to improve the members and the profession.
The duo of Commissioner for Solid Minerals Hon Qowiyyu Olododo and Commissioner for Energy Hon. AbdulAzeez Kola expressed satisfaction towards the conduct of the election.
They restated Kwara State govt’s commitment towards youth development in the state.
Engr. Temim Aliyu expressed optimism that the new excos will perform excellently, considering their wealth of experiences.
The event also witnessed presentation of cash prizes to some best graduating students for their excellent performance.
