In a bid to strengthen collaboration and foster better synergy between the Kwara State Police and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), the newly appointed Commissioner of Police in Kwara State, Ebun Oluwarotimi Adelesi, paid a courtesy visit to the Kwara NSCDC command on Wednesday. The visit aimed to enhance security efforts and ensure the safety of residents in the state.
Commissioner Adelesi expressed her commitment to working closely with the NSCDC and emphasized the readiness of the police to collaborate effectively. Recognizing the existing relationship between the two agencies, she called for its continuity and urged well-meaning citizens of Kwara State to support the security agencies in their efforts to maintain a safe and secure environment.
In response, the Kwara NSCDC Commandant, Umar Muhammed, expressed appreciation for Commissioner Adelesi’s visit and acknowledged her kind gesture. He assured her of the NSCDC’s continued commitment to maintaining law and order in the state.
Commandant Muhammed also commended His Excellency, Governor AbdulRazaq, for his unwavering support to the NSCDC and other security agencies in Kwara State, which has contributed to creating a conducive and secure environment.
