Determined to curb the menace of drug abuse, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency is seeking a partnership between the Nigeria Customs Service and other relevant stakeholders in the fight against drug trafficking.
The Apapa Commander of NDLEA, Mr Noah Ndutong, disclosed that on Wednesday in Lagos during the grand finale of the 2024 International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking.
As an expression of its determination to strengthen action and cooperation to achieve the goal of an international society free of drug abuse, the United Nations Office on Drug and Crime declared June 26 of every year as International Day Again Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking.
This year has the theme “The evidence is clear, invest in prevention”.
