NCDC reports 100 new Covid-19 cases across 14 States, FCT
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Thursday reported 100 new COVID-19 cases across 14 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
The agency did not report any additional COVID-19 related death.
According to the data from the agency’s official website, Lagos state reported 22 cases while Yobe recorded 18, followed by FCT with 15, Ogun – 7, Osun – 7, Oyo – 6, Sokoto – 6, Imo – 5, Kwara – 4, Bauchi – 3, Edo – 3 while Delta, Jigawa, Kano and Nasarawa reported a single case each.
The reported 100 new infections have brought the total number of confirmed cases to 253,505 while 229,893 people have recovered and have been discharged.
With no additional COVID-19 related death recorded for the day, the death toll from the virus still stands at 3,136, according to NCDC
