The Ilorin branch of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has lauded Senator Saliu Mustapha, representing Kwara Central Senatorial District, for his generous support during the recently concluded Annual General Conference (AGC) of the NBA in Lagos.
In a statement issued by the branch’s Chairman, SMH Kosemani Esq, the association warmly acknowledged the pivotal role Senator Mustapha played in ensuring the successful participation of its members. The senator had provided significant support for the transportation and accommodation of members registered under the branch’s scheme, enabling them to fully engage in the landmark event.
The Chairman noted that Senator Mustapha’s gesture underscores his longstanding commitment to the legal profession, particularly within the Ilorin Branch.
“Senator Mustapha has consistently shown himself to be a true friend of the Bar,” the statement read. “His unwavering support for our members and the branch as a whole is deeply appreciated.”
The statement further highlighted the branch’s anticipation of continuing its positive relationship with the senator, as they work together to promote democracy, constitutionalism, justice, and the rule of law in Nigeria.
This is not the first time the Kwara Senator has supported the professional body. Last year, like the previous years, he supported the organisation during its major events and programmes.
