National President Government Secondary School, GSS Ilorin Old Boys Association Sheni Ibiwoye SAN is optimistic that the country will surmount the numerous challenges currently facing it.
The president stated this in his Easter message signed by the National Publicity Secretary, Kehinde Omoloso to the Old Boys, Teachers and students of GSS Ilorin.
While noting that the country is battling issues on many fronts, the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ, is an indication that Nigeria will rise from all its challenges and we Nigerians are going to rejoice and be proud of our nation again by divine intervention through Jesus Christ.
Chief Ibiwoye’s prayer is that God will fast-track the resurrection of Nigeria from all her pains and challenges so that those of us who have tasted in the suffering in our nation might equally reap the bountiful benefits of this nation.
He also lauded the security operatives for their determination to ensure peace and especially for paying the supreme price through some officers who paid for their efforts in tackling the security situation in the country.
He seized this opportunity of Easter to pray for comfort for their families and urged the government to take good care of the people they left behind.
He also called on the Federal Government to double efforts in tackling insecurity and corruption in our country.
