The Office of Vice President on special duties of the indigenous National Association of Kwara has awarded the governor of Kwara, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, Estu Patigi, Alhaji Muhammad Umaru Bologi II, Haruna Likpata Foundation, CEO Satcom Media, and some other dignitaries who have contributed meaningfully to the development of the indigenous association.
The leadership summit, tagged self-confidence as the recipe for personal development and advancement for kwara state students was organized by the office of the NAKSS vice president on special duties to address social, economic, and environmental benefits associated with confidence among students.
Representing the executive governor of Kwara State at the event, the Edu TIC chairman, Hon Muhammed Aliyu, received the award of leadership on his behalf “as a beacon of home for women” in due recognition of his outstanding contribution to the promotion of women’s right and empowerments in Kwara State.
While Estu of Patigi was represented by Engr. Idris Ibrahim (Makun Patigi) received Estu’s award on his behalf. Haruna Likpata Foundation was represented by ace journalist and CEO Dabe Yi Baza Online TV, Hajia Fatimah Asabe Jiyah commend NAKSS for recognizing the foundation efforts in the community development
The chairperson of the occasion, Hajia Fatimah AbdulKadir while delivering a speech at the summit, described youths as a representative of the future of Kwara. She added that self-development is the ability, and skills of a formal line in becoming a leader.
“The youths particularly the students represent the future of Kwara state. I speak to you today about all facts about leadership and how to maintain leadership. Simply speaking, self-confidence refers to confidence in oneself, it is considered as one of the qualities of being a good leader.”
She noted that the significance of good self-confidence cannot be underestimated because it has an impact on lives and the choices that are made.
In an interview with Advocate Adam Abdullahi, he commended the organizers of the leadership for portraying the virtues of a leader.
