NAKSS holds 17th Inaugural Sitting

The National Association of Kwara State Students, NAKSS, National headquarters on Friday held its 17th Inaugural Sitting at the Kwara State House of Assembly Hallow Chamber, in Ilorin.

Just Event Online reports, that Senate President, Senator Afolayan Ifeoluwa Olawumi reaffirmed her commitment to students inclusiveness, assuring of leveraging opportunities for students to thrive

Senator Ifeoluwa therefore solicited for maximum support from her colleagues and other students, so as to achieve the desired goals.

Senator AbdulGaniyu Hussain Keto from Obafemi Awolowo University, raised a motion for the Presentation of budget, noting that it will help map out the administration goals, keep track of the progress, and make it a reality. The motion was seconded by Comrade Timileyin of the Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin.

Also, Senator AbdulSalaam Yinka from Umaru Musa Yar’adua University Katsina raised the motion that NAKSS should conduct a Bye Election to fill the vacant positions. The motion was seconded by Senator Yusuf of EKSU COED ILORIN CHAPTER.

Another motion by Senator Ideerah, from Health Technology Offa seeks that NAKSS should create students’s database for accessing any sort of data or information at any time.

The 17th Inaugural Sitting was witnessed by members and stakeholders of the National Association of Kwara State Students, NAKSS.
