In an effort to promote technological advancement among students in Kwara State, the National Association of Nigerian Students (NAKSS) has launched an initiative to incorporate, sensitize, and empower students in the state.
Speaking with Just Event Online TV, NAKSS National President, Comr. Abdulwahab Habeebullah, said that his team had received 104 applications and carefully selected 5 beneficiaries to receive laptops.
He commended Kwara State Governor, AbdulRazaq AbdulRahman, for his dedication to students’ welfare and support for the tech ecosystem, The beneficiaries were advised to use the laptops judiciously.
SSA Communications to the Kwara Governor, Ibrahim Abdullateef, delivered a lecture on The Digital Age: Where Does Kwara Youth Stand?” He encouraged students to develop their skills to access more education and knowledge, enabling them to compete with their counterparts.
Abdullateef praised the organizers for their efforts and urged them to ensure continuity and monitor the beneficiaries’ use of the laptops.
The Chairman of the National Association of Nigerian Students, Kwara Axis, Comr. Abdulgafar Issa, expressed excitement about the initiative, emphasizing the importance of technological advancement in today’s world.
The laptop beneficiaries appreciated the leadership of NAKSS National Headquarters and pledged to use the gadgets judiciously.
