Mubarak Opeyemi Lawal Impact Foundation to Launch Community Relief Program in Ilorin

The Mubarak Opeyemi Lawal Impact Foundation (MOLIF), a non-governmental organization dedicated to addressing global challenges in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), is set to launch a new outreach program. Named Community Assistance and Relief Efforts (CARE), the program is scheduled to take place on November 17, 2024, at Oke-ebo L.G.E.A Primary School, Pakata, Ilorin.

This was contained in a press statement signed by Olohunoje Abdullah Ayo, Program Director, MOLIF and obtained by Just Event Online TV on Tuesday

The foundation, headquartered in Ilorin, aims to create sustainable impact in underserved communities locally and globally, focusing on three primary areas: eradicating hunger (SDG 2), promoting good health and well-being (SDG 3), and ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education (SDG 4). MOLIF operates through a dedicated team that includes a Board of Directors, program management, research and development, communications, and finance departments, all committed to advocacy and community engagement.

The upcoming CARE program is aimed at providing immediate assistance to individuals and families struggling with food insecurity. As MOLIF Program Director Olohunoje Abdullah Ayo explained, “Economic challenges and social inequalities have left many individuals vulnerable, and we are committed to offering support to those who need it most.”

During the outreach, MOLIF will distribute essential food items, specifically rice and semovita, to 50 selected beneficiaries in the Pakata area. Each family has been identified to ensure that support reaches those facing the greatest challenges, providing nourishment and relief during this period of economic hardship.

Expressing gratitude, Ayo acknowledged Mubarak Lawal, Chairman of MOLIF, for his unwavering support. “His vision and commitment as the sole sponsor of this foundation make these essential resources possible for those who need them most,” Ayo stated.

The *CARE* program will also involve mobilizing resources and volunteers to ensure a smooth and impactful event. “To make a real difference and raise awareness, we need the support of the media to reach the broader community and amplify our message,” Ayo added.

Through the collective efforts of MOLIF and its partners, the foundation hopes to bring hope, compassion, and relief to the community, working toward a future where no one has to go hungry.
