In a bid to foster unity and progress within Moro Local Government, a developmental program tagged “Moro Mission for Vision 2040” was held yesterday at NAF, Saho town, Moro Local Government Area. The event was organized by concerned individuals in partnership with Moro House of Assembly members, Hon. Saliu Ayanshola Lawal who is representing Ipaye, Malete, Oloru Constituency and Hon. Abdulraheem Madinat Moturayo representing Eji, Lanwa constituency.
The program, which focused on the theme “Civil Servant Engagement; ways to have developmental strive during services,” emphasized the crucial role civil servants play in achieving the local government’s development goals. Speakers at the event stressed the importance of unity, integrity, and transparency in service delivery.
In their separate speech, Hon. Saliu Ayanshola Lawal and Hon. Abdulraheem Madinat Moturayo, Both emphasized the importance of civil servants and community members working together for Moro’s progress. They urged everyone to embrace unity, hard work, and a shared responsibility for the local government’s future.
The first guest speaker, Prof. Baba Abdulkadir, DCMAC Clinical, UITH, delivered a speech on behalf of the Chief Medical Director of UITH, Prof. A.D. Yussuf. He highlighted the current state of Moro Local Government and emphasized the need for unity and collective action to demand better representation, funding, and services.
While the second guest speaker, Mr. Oladepo Kolawole Afolabi, HOD Road taxes dept, Kw-IRS speaks on Leadership and Management planning towards achieving career objectives, he describe the Moro Mission for Vision 2040 as a clarion call for unity and progress within Moro Local Government. He charge everyone one to prioritise personal development and their local government development.
On this part, Oro of Shao land, Oba Job Obalowu Atolagbe charge everyone on Promoting sustainable development through education, healthcare, and job creation. Hon. Mustapha Kabir, Omo Nma and Waziri of Malete, delivered a speech titled “The Way Forward for Moro Civil Servants: Today, Tomorrow, and the Future.” He underscored the significance of civil servants’ knowledge, responsibility, and leadership in shaping Moro’s development.
