Mohammed Abdulkareem Adisa, the son of late General Abdulkareem Adisa, is carving out his own remarkable legacy — not on the battlefield, but in the world of academic and professional engineering.

Born into a lineage of leadership and resilience, Mohammed’s journey was marked by a sense of destiny even from his birth. As recalled by a family elder, his arrival into the world stirred a profound reflection on legacy, responsibility, and blessings. Named “Mohammed” by his grandfather in honor of their proud family heritage, he was destined for greatness beyond titles and positions.

Today, Mohammed Abdulkareem stands tall as a first-class graduate of Civil Engineering from Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete. He is currently pursuing his Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree at the same institution, where he specializes in concrete materials, structural analysis, and seismic performance simulations.

Key Specializations: High-performance concrete, fibre-reinforced concretes, pozzolan-blended materials, and earthquake-resistant structures.

Notable Publications:

“Optimal water-cement ratio and volume of superplasticizers for blended cement-bamboo leaf ash high-performance concrete” (2022).

Multiple 2023–2024 studies on sustainable concrete innovations involving coconut fibre, rice husk ash, and biochar.

His academic output has garnered 21 citations to date, with an h-index of 2 and an i10-index of 1, reflecting a growing influence in engineering research circles.

Public Engagement and Future Prospects

Beyond the classroom and the laboratory, Mohammed engages with a global community of researchers:

Instagram (@mohammed_adisa_) and X/Twitter (@MohammedAdisa01) platforms where he shares milestones and scientific discussions.

Regular interactions on ResearchGate with peers working on sustainable engineering solutions for a greener future.

His ongoing research interests suggest a future focused on low-carbon geopolymer materials and advanced simulations of structures in seismic zones — fields critical to the sustainable development goals (SDGs).

Carrying the Torch Forward

From the moment of his birth, it was said that Mohammed would honor the legacy of his forefathers. True to that prophecy, he has chosen a path defined by excellence, service to humanity through knowledge, and leadership grounded in merit.

Mohammed Abdulkareem Adisa is not just General Adisa’s son. He is a scholar, a researcher, and a builder of futures — embodying the spirit of resilience, innovation, and honor that his family name proudly stands for.
