The Kwara State House of Assembly Candidate for Ilorin South Constituency, Hajia Maryam Aladi on Tuesday, provided succor for the widows in her Constituency with cash and food items.
Delivering a sermon at the third edition of the widows support, Alfa Hassan and Hussain Agbarere said, whoever helps the window will be rewarded greatly. They described them as a person Fighting jihad. The duo commended Hajia Maryam for her benevolent act.
Speaking with the Journalist, Hajia Maryam said the act was to give back to the society who are in need. She expressed happiness that Gov AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq gave women fair play in the party and the trust he has in them. She promised not to disappoint the trust of her constituents if elected in the forthcoming general election.
Speaking further, she expressed believe saying that the party will be victorious in 2023.
“I have alot to dish out to my constituents and I pray to God so I can fulfill my heart desires when voted in.”
Also, SA Political, (Central) to Kwara Gov, Hon. Suleiman Sai Kayi described Aladi as one of the philanthropic women. She urged the women of the constituency to cast their vote in her support.
The event witnessed presentation of Award of Excellence and campaign posters by ISWOF and NGO, She4She Africa Innitative to Aladi in recognition of her good deeds.
The event was witnessed by Ilorin South APC chairman, Hon Hakeem Jaji, Wife of Kwara APC Chairman, Mrs Fagbemi, Hajia Bolanle Ismail, Hon Rasaq Owolabi, Kwara Central women leader, Alhaja Tawakalituh Agaka, among others.
