The Lions Clubs International Districts 404B2 and 404B3 Nigeria have officially commenced their three-day Joint District Convention at De Peace Hotel, Ilorin, from February 6th to 8th, 2025.
The event, led by District Governors Lion Tolulope Ayodeji Senbanjo (PMJF, NLCF) and Lion Ibrahim Jide Bello (PMJF, NLCF), aims to strengthen collaboration and highlight the impact of the Lions’ humanitarian services.
In his address during the press conference with Newsmen in Ilorin , the District Governor Lion Tolulope Ayodeji Senbanjo reaffirmed the club’s commitment to service, unity, and global impact.
He emphasized that Lions Clubs International, with over 1.4 million members in more than 200 countries, is dedicated to making a positive difference in communities through various service programs.
“As Lions, we embody the values of kindness, compassion, and service. By working together, we can achieve great things and transform lives,” he stated.
He further highlighted the benefits of being a Lion, including opportunities for leadership development, skill enhancement, and participation in diverse humanitarian projects such as vision and health screenings, disaster relief, and environmental conservation.
A key highlight of the convention is the partnership between Districts 404B2 and 404B3, fostering stronger ties and increasing the reach of their service initiatives.
The District Governor expressed gratitude to the sister district for their collaboration, emphasizing the importance of unity in advancing their shared mission.
